January 2010 - Elliot Williams retires from Mirus Capital Advisors
The partners and associates of Mirus Capital Advisors would like to thank Elliot Williams, on the occasion of his retirement last month, for his 19 years with the firm.
Elliot Williams joined the firm in 1991 (when Mirus was known as RossCrosslandWeston & Co.) and became a partner in 1997. He served as president of Mirus Capital Advisors from 2000 to 2007, and President of the Boston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth from 2005 to 2007. In 2005 he was elected by Mass High Tech, the Journal of New England Technology, to its list of 2005 All-Stars. He played a pivotal role in transforming what was a small, specialized M&A boutique into a leading middle market investment bank. He participated in or managed more than 100 merger, acquisition and private equity and venture capital transactions for Mirus clients during his years with the firm.
Since stepping down as President of Mirus in late 2007, Elliot has increased the time spent with his family and pursuing his interest in music. He will continue to be a valued advisor and friend to Mirus, as well as many former clients and colleagues. We wish him all the best.
