Peter Alternative becomes Partner at Mirus Capital Advisors

Mirus Capital Advisors, a middle-market investment bank, announced announced that Peter Alternative has become a partner and equity holder of the investment banking firm. Mirus serves family-owned firms, venture backed start-ups, and publicly traded companies throughout North America and Europe in mergers, acquisitions, buy-outs and recapitalizations.
Alternative joined Mirus in 1998 and has been instrumental in developing the firm's enterprise software practice. “We are extremely pleased to have Peter as a partner and to have him guiding our work with an industry sector that is extremely important to our business,” said Mirus President Elliot Williams. “His passion for his work and his dedication to client service and best practices has enabled him to create incredibly strong relationships with clients and with our strategic partners. Before joining Mirus, Alternative was a financial analyst for CFO Strategies, a financial consulting firm that provides interim CFO services to venture-funded technology startups. He began his business career as a founding member of two entertainment startups.
Alternative received an MBA with high distinction from Bentley's McCallum Graduate School of Business, and a BA in Political Science from Hobart College. He is a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization and the Association for Corporate Growth. He also is a Registered Securities Principal and holds Series 7 and 63 NASD certifications.
