In more than one instance the option indicated by Mirus’ analysis was not the one which would have led to the largest fee, but it was always the one which was demonstrated to be in the best long-term interests of the company’s shareholders.

What do former Analysts have to say about the Mirus program?

"I just wanted to take another moment to thank you all for an incredible and invaluable experience. I had high expectations coming in, but I could not have imagined how beneficial it was going to be for me - in so many different ways know I could not have gotten the interviews and ultimately the job offer I received, without this experience."

Todd Roitfarb - MBA Candidate, Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management

"My internship experience at Mirus provided more than I could have asked for. Upon speaking to my fellow classmates I have found that, in many instances, my experience was more rewarding than other internships."

Christopher Schadinger - MBA Candidate, Boston College Carroll Graduate School of Management

"The internship at Mirus Capital is a hidden gem and it gives great confidence to any intern when starting a full-time career in investment banking."

Full-Time Investment Banking Senior Analyst - Burlington, MA

Summary

Have you always wanted to be an investment banker? Do you want to work in a collegial environment with a group of smart, experienced deal makers who roll up their sleeves and work alongside you? Do you want to be part of a flat organization where your voice is not only heard but can lead to real and often immediate change? Are you willing to be a challenging contrarian, able to engage in productive conflict and compromise? If the answers to these questions are yes, Mirus Capital represents a great cultural fit.

Mirus Capital Advisors is seeking an MBA (or bachelor degree with investment banking experience) to join our growing, middle-market investment bank. You will use your top notch financial modeling skills to build valuation models; your research skills and ability to think outside the box to create targeted buyer lists; your strong communication skills to write persuasive offering memoranda; and all of these skills plus PowerPoint expertise to create compelling pitch books that will cause prospective clients to beg us to represent them.

The successful Senior Analyst will be self-motivated, able to work independently, juggle priorities from multiple partners, and have the confidence to present alternative viewpoints. You must be comfortable in a small company environment where learning takes place on-the-job, it’s a fast-moving environment and the hours can be long, but there is significant job satisfaction.
