Mirus Capital Advisors seeks interns with finance and research skills to join our growing, middle-market investment bank. The position requires an understanding of accounting and corporate finance, modeling and analytical skills, and strong communication skills. You would provide critical research, analysis and general professional support. In particular, you will develop strategies and databases of leads and targets in a wide-range of industries: telecommunications, software, manufacturing, industrial service, and professional services industries. Additionally, you will research and evaluate the financial condition of the potential client and its peer group, and develop pitch presentations and valuations. These analytics will be critical to the team's ability to properly target and position clients for sale, merger, recapitalization or acquisition.

Mirus’ internship program runs spring, summer and fall. The ideal candidate is a senior-year undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a finance, accounting or business degree from a leading college or university. Work experience in accounting or finance is highly desired. Candidate must be a self-motivated, proactive professional, prepared to work in a fast-moving environment that can require long hours but provides significant job satisfaction. Summary

Mirus is looking for an experienced valuation professional to join our team. The ideal candidate would have at least 3-5 years experience in performing valuations, including business valuations, asset valuations (FAS 141/142), fairness opinions, common stock valuations (409A/FAS123R), ESOP valuations and other. Designation from a recognized appraisal / valuation organization (e.g. ASA, AVA, etc) is strongly preferred.
